Good To Grow
What do you need to keep growing?

I’m going to be honest with you: Today’s newsletter got away from me.
It’s currently 9:23 p.m. and my brain is running on fumes. I feel like this week has been packed. Doctor’s appointments to discuss if I need a statin for my cholesterol because I’m at the age where cardiovascular disease becomes a real concern. Hosting a photographer from a local paper to take some photos of Ben and I. Preparing for a trip to the University of Vermont next week.
Phew.
So, where’s the light in a schedule that feels heavy?
For me, the light is thinking about how I can continue to grow and feed the things I both love and love about myself when almost everything around me feels shadowy and obscure. I want to remain solid in a world that feels unstable. I want to continually remind myself that I can find those pinholes in the darkness and work to either blow them wider open or grow straight through them.
I want to live in the understanding that I’m never fully finished, that there will always be space to stretch into something new.
That’s always about looking for the glimmer that keeps me moving when I’d rather sink.
Tell me: How do you do that for yourself?
