My son is owning his story.

My son and I talked to a WBEZ reporter about how the current environment is affecting trans kids.

This story might be the first time my kid has really owned his story, and seeing him do that with such courage and determination is a real gift.

Lurie’s decision came after President Trump threatened to cut federal funding. Some families worry other gender-affirming care will cease.
